Is Multi Level Marketing Sponsoring Easy?

“Do I need to know and sign up many people to be successful in Multi Level Marketing?” is a frequently asked question.

A frequent reply you might hear from upline sponsors is…

“No, you can become very successful in Multi Level Marketing by Sponsoring just one person every month or so and build up a significantsignificant residual income.

They will go on to tell you that the people you sponsor do not have to come from your “warm market,” (that is, your friends, relatives, and people you already know).  They say, just think of all the people you meet every day in your normal activities!

But then they turn around and tell you to make a list of everyone you know, even from a casual relationship.  They tell you to list everyone you can think of for example, people you work with, go to church with, people you do business with, people you went to school with, people you knew before you moved to your present location, etc. and you will be amazed by the number of people that end up on your list.

But the question is, will all these people really join your Multi Level Marketing program if you ask them to?  Most probably not.  However, statistics show that if only one out of every one hundred contacts you make joins your program under you, it will be sufficient to make your car payment, another one will make your house payment, and one more will retire you!

So, three out of every one hundred isn’t all that bad!  Also, keep in mind that the people on your list also know other people, and will frequently refer you to other people that might be interested in joining you in your endeavor!”

Have you ever been turned down 97 times?  That is a lot of rejection.  And initially these rejections come from people you know, so the rejection is even more difficult.  Most people will not last that long.

How many masochist do you know who are willing to knowingly go out and face one hundred people and get turned away by ninety seven of them and just keep on going trying to sell or recruit to an unwilling market?

If you are fortunate enough to sign up a person who is currently a successful network marketer with required skills, who brings along his established downline with him and becomes a “heavy hitter” in your company, then technically the answer given above is correct.  If your company’s compensation plan is supportive, then that single recruit may be able to carry you along.

If you do take this approach, the chances of you signing up a “heavy hitter” who will rapidly build a large downline below you is extremely unlikely if you are only recruiting “one person every month or two.”

So what are your alternatives if you can’t enroll a “heavy hitter” early on in you Multi Level Marketing sponsoring efforts and you do not look forward to the thought of facing rejection from 97 out of every one hundred people you contact?

If you don’t want to be a member of the NFL (No Friends Left) club, then I would suggest not pursuing your friends and family, everyone you know, or anyone within 30 feet as many upline sponsors advocate.  No matter what they say, everyone is not your market.  Instead your target market is people who are specifically interested in starting a home-based business, earning extra money, are already members of some Multi Level Marketing company or are interested joining a Multi Level Marketing program.  Now the trick is to get them to come to you and then, using a soft sell approach instead of the traditional hard sell, enroll them into your program.

“OK, so just how do I go about doing that?”, you ask.

You can achieve this by offering your target market a free report or funded proposal relevant to your niche and developing your mailing or emailing (preferable) list.  Then using this list, you build a relationship with the members of your list by providing them useful information and becoming an authority figure in their eyes.  This is known as relationship marketing.

If you have correctly identified your market, prospects will soon be calling you for guidance and asking how they can enroll in your team.

Name 3 companies that have within their first 10 years have exceeded the revenue of our company?

Inquiring mind wants to know.. asked:

I challenge anyone to find a network marketing company that, within its first 10 years, exceeds $2,000,000,000. If anyone can give me the CORRECT answer, they could win $10,000.00. This is no joke.
